BGIS is pleased to welcome the Hon Ian G. Campbell as Director, Global Advisory Board.

BGIS is pleased to welcome the Hon Ian G. Campbell as Director, Global Advisory Board. Ian joins BGIS to drive growth in key sectors through his strategic leadership in business development and advocacy.

Ian served as a Senator in the Federal Parliament of Australia from 1990 to 2007, and was a member of Prime Minister John W. Howard’s Ministry from 1996-2007. His Ministerial portfolio’s included Treasury, Communications and IT, Local Government Territories and Roads, Environment and Heritage (with responsibility for Climate Change policy), and Human Services. He served on the PM’s Leadership group (1996-2004) and was a member of the Cabinet’s Budget and Expenditure Review Committee (2004-7).

Ian joined Brookfield in 2011 working with the leadership across the Property, Infrastructure, Private Equity (including Multiplex) businesses. He is Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of international IT services company ASG Group Ltd.

Ian is Chairman of the Perth Childrens Hospital Foundation, a member of the Council of the Australian National Maritime Museum, and Chairman of the Harry Butler Institute at Murdoch University.

Ian was Chairman of the successful Brookfield-Multiplex-BGIS bid for the award-winning new Perth Stadium.

Ian commenced with BGIS on 1 November 2019, based in Perth, Western Australia.
