BGIS is excited to announce the acquisition of HFM Asset Management, a leading engineering professional services firm, that builds our sustainability capability and aligns us with BGIS’ global leadership position as a technically led organisation.
Led by Ian Knox, HFM arms BGIS with a team of engineering consultants with expertise in building efficiency across asset management, building improvement, NABERS and BEEC, energy and water, facility advisory and renewable energy. In particular, HFM is a leader in solar advisory, solar solutions and large-scale solar projects. HFM’s team is located Australia-wide.
“True to our reputation for technical excellence, we continue to invest and grow our capabilities with this expertise. We see immediate opportunities to execute on HFM’s advisory with cost benefits and energy efficiencies sustained through operations and maintenance and capital projects upgrades. HFM has strong alignment to our priority sectors,” said BGIS President and Managing Director Dana Nelson. “As integrated services within our business, they will seamlessly add value and leverage greater efficiencies for our clients.”
HFM Managing Director Ian Knox said: “BGIS is a great company with a solid reputation and shared core values. We believe this is a very positive development for our customers, management and employees.”
Ms Nelson is delighted that Mr Knox will continue to lead the business and deliver on its growth plans.
