BGIS was the proud recipient of the ‘Excellence in Management of a Response to COVID-19′ award at the 2020 FM Industry Awards for Excellence. The recognition was for our Workplace Reoccupancy Playbook, which was designed to guide workforces through the changing scenarios imposed on workplaces, buildings and facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 100-page interactive tool was informed by subject-matter experts from across our organisation, while its recommended initiatives were widely adopted within our operations and client accounts.
Rikki Cooper, our Talent Acquisition Business Partner and Indigenous Engagement Specialist, also received one of two Indigenous Scholarships from the FMA, in recognition of her outstanding commitment and achievements in Indigenous engagement. The newly launched Indigenous Scholarship Program is open to FMA members of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage who work in the facilities management industry, and covers the full course fees for the Diploma of Facilities Management.
The annual FM Industry Awards for Excellence are regarded as a benchmark of industry excellence, and brings together the very best in facilities management to recognise leadership, innovation and achievement.
