IFM for NSW Department of Communities and Justice

BGIS is very pleased to be delivering the Infrastructure Support Services Agreement with the NSW Department of Communities and Justice.  The large-scale portfolio of 1,000+ buildings includes courthouses, youth justice, correctional facilities, office buildings, car parks, training centres and residential properties. The properties are located in Sydney and across regional NSW, they include state of the art modern facilities as well as buildings of historical significance. The comprehensive scope of services includes transition in services, data rectification services, asset management, facilities management, project management, financial management, and as required property services and capital works projects.

A strong feature of the contract is the focus on the sustainability action plans that are aligned to the Department’s objectives and the Premier’s priority to reduce recidivism. The plans address aboriginal participation, regional and small medium enterprises engagement, disability engagement, and apprenticeship and trainee engagement, and build on the existing contractual accomplishments in social responsibility.

BGIS has held a 17-year collaborative partnership with the Department and Customer Agencies.
