BGIS Achieves ISO 55001 Certification

BGIS’ Department of Defence Northern NSW Contract has achieved certification of the Asset Management System to the Standard ISO 55001:2014. This is significant recognition of the strong operational practices in this contract and across our BGIS business. The certification was efficiently achieved with a quick six-month turnaround. The BSI auditor noted our “Innovative approach” to the asset management system certification – a mark of the technical expertise and experience of our team. Our team is looking forward to working with other clients and major facilities on future certifications. A streamlined integration plan allowed the team to leverage all existing management processes into the integrated framework. The BSI auditor noted BGIS’ “Innovative approach” to the asset management system certification. Under Richard’s direction, the team didn’t follow a cookie-cutter approach but developed the system from scratch to fit our business. This is a mark of the technical expertise and experience of our team.

The asset management system has been configured to adapt to the requirements of other clients and major facilities. All clients should benefit from the rigour and processes of the certified system.
