IFM for retail service stations
This is the organisation’s longest term IFM client account in New Zealand, and employs a total of 21 people with 20 based in Auckland and one in Queenstown. The team services a portfolio of 119 ExxonMobil NZ retail service stations across the North and South Islands of New Zealand. The capabilities of the team are facilities managers, project managers and business support staff. The operational team has highly specialised fuels management expertise. The projects team undertakes the replacement of underground equipment and drainage, covering a range of major projects up to $5M per project. They support ExxonMobil’s Fiji service stations remotely for projects and safety advice.
It is a busy maintenance schedule with 13,500 PPMs and 13,500 reactive work orders, covering a scope that includes:
- Asset management (all buildings, fuel systems, grounds and infrastructure)
- Maintenance and repairs – electrical, plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, fuels, landscape gardening
- Car wash
- Building Warrant of Fitness
- Project management, construction, capex
- Cleaning, painting, waste management
At both organisations, ExxonMobil NZ and BGIS there is a strong focus on safety performance. The major achievement for this contract is – no lost time injuries since 2007.
