Building Sustainability

NABERS ratings and BEEC

HFM works with our clients on NABERS certifications, a national rating system that measures the environmental performance of Australian buildings, tenancies and homes. The key benefits of engaging our accredited NABERS assessors are cost savings through energy and water efficiency improvements, environmental benefits by promoting sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of buildings, improved occupant well-being with a healthier indoor environment, enhanced building value, and carbon neutral certification. The Building Energy Efficiency Certificate (BEEC) prepared by our accredited BEEC assessors discloses energy efficiency information about office space. Our team will prepare the BEEC certification, along with the Tenancy Lighting assessment. Regulatory adherence to the Commercial building disclosure act ensures energy efficiency information is available for most office space of 1000 m2 or more at the time of sale, lease, or sublease.

Our electrical engineering consultants are NER registered, experienced and capable of electrical design and network application submissions. They are experienced in identifying and resolving local and whole-of-site switchboard and transformer capacity constraints, substation, or district transformer limitations. HFM, in conjunction with Core Vision, offers a simple to use, hosted, web-based client request system to facilitate communication between residents, tenants, contractors, maintenance personnel and site managers for building owners.

The myBuilding asset management software is designed to provide automated communications to help asset owner reduce risk, provide better service levels to tenants and to provide useful information for future contract negotiations.

myBuildings enables efficient and automated communications between tenants, site managers and contractors. Via a dynamic website,
myBuildings can, amongst other functions, provide contractor inductions and up-to-the-minute portfolio reporting for management and building owners.
